In 2026 the U.S. Amateur Championship returns to Merion GC outside of Philadelphia for the seventh time and Lee is proud to have created the official poster for the event. Originally designed by Hugh Wilson, Merion is considered one of the greatest examples of golf course architecture in the world, as the design makes use of every bit of its mere 115 acres to continue to challenge the modern golfer. This year’s U.S. Amateur is the 20th USGA event that Merion has hosted and Lee’s third poster for the national championship showcases the Club’s topography, proximity to Philadelphia and of course its famous wicker baskets.
